Meet the real live music group from Latvia – ORANŽĀS BRĪVDIENAS! No other performance is like that of Latvia’s TurboFolk. Music is full of energy, flowing from the mix of ska, punk, metal, folk and others, creating a unique experience.
Oranžās Brīvdienas is a Latvian turboFolk group created in March 2000 by songwriter Speiss (Ints Kergalvis) in his native city Kuldīga.
Initially, local friends and musicians were invited, but then the band members and the music style changed, until 2005, when the band became as we know of it now.
Speiss – acoustic guitar, vocals, music and songs
Raitis – bass
Čakste – rhythm guitar, mandolin
Andzabrels – lead guitar
Kaļa – Trombone
Ricis – saxophone
Brunis – trumpet
Jeska – drum
The band has played in almost all music clubs and festivals in Latvia and has been to Europe, with concerts in Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the Czech Republic.Set featured image
