The multimedia agency Nanook.lt (Lithuania) implements a project whose goal is to meet and get to know young people (from 16 to 21 years old) living in the Baltic countries. The project focuses on the Baltic youth from Russian-speaking backgrounds, inquiring into their world-view, sense of identity and relation to their lived space. Tomorrow they will work in various fields and manage their own countries. Who are they – this post-post Soviet generation?
A team of journalists and anthropologists from Nanook invites you to participate in a two-day workshop, held on September 14-15. During this workshop, you will learn the basics of taking pictures on a mobile phone and creating a self-portrait photo, also anthropological research methods, and take part in discussions on political, legal and leisure topics. During the workshop, we will get to know each other and know ourselves. At the end of the workshop, we will record a podcast for the Nyla Ru channel (http://www.nyla.lt).
The workshop will be held by photojournalist Arturas Morozovas, as well as anthropologists Arvydas Grishinas and Severina Wenskute. The discussion will be attended by Inna Shilina, host and producer of Nyla Ru podcasts.
